Great name on your resume. Don't expect though that when you move to a different company you will be able to normally communicate with your "best" buddies from PIMCO

Competitive environment. If you are not a manager's protege it is not always clear what direction to follow and what are your expected daily duties. Be careful and document every step. Sometimes just doing it takes more time than to actually do work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Middle level management should not be so scared to loose their compensation and bonuses and be more protective of an actual doers not talkers. It takes guts to be a a great manager and PIMCO is a shark tank with no mercy and no second chances.
