I have been working at PVA Consulting Group full-time (More than 8 years)
PVA is a good place to work as it has a good structured methodology that brings consistency on how things are done. Engagement deliverable and targets are reasonable so you don't feel like you are fighting a losing cause. Great mix of people with lots of experience and support to drive projects forward. But what I like most about PVA is that they care about its people. A much better work life balance than other consulting firms with the Travel Day program and they have helped me overcome personal challenges and difficulties. One of the key reasons why there is such a high level of tenure, something that you don’t often see in this industry.
Like any other consulting firms, travel can be tough. The glamour of travel wears out very fast. You do work longer hours than a normal 9 to 5 job but no longer than 10 hours in a day. And finally, while there is a clear structure and methodology, there are variations on how the projects are executed based on who is leading the project, which can be good or bad.
Advice to Management
Continue to care and support the people that make up the company. Improve internal capacity to take on new and bigger challenges.
