    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Pac-12 Networks (More than 3 years)

    - Job security: While many will publicly describe as a 'start up,' this is a well-funded start up where you concerns regarding layoffs and funding are not something employees here worry about like you might find at true start-ups - Great office location: Centrally located near Moscone Center in a building with other great companies - Many young, smart, mid-level employees who love sports. Many of whom graduated from Pac-12 schools and are passionate about working for this company

    - Lack of television/media industry experience and decision making amongst network senior staff - Too much power and oversight from Pac-12 Conference executives who have no experience in developing budgets and overall business strategies for a network specializing in live sports television production - More effort put into spinning a story of our past 'successes' than developing plan for the future

    Advice to Management

    - Remember why you got into the television/media business in the first place and make decisions as such. - Provide more transparency to employees. As much as you try to convince us to see everything through rose colored glasses with all-staff meetings that solely dole out praise and back slaps, it would benefit everyone to be motivated with the hard truths that we're not were we want to be and we need to do better. - Show some results for all the senior staff meeting lunch sessions, retreats and 'off-line' brainstorming sessions that nine times out of ten go absolute nowhere
