I have been working at Pacific Convenience & Fuels full-time

    Pros

there are a couple of very nice people

    Cons

People (minus a selected few) walking on eggshelFs. Lots of backbiting due to fear of losing job. The company has had 8 CFOs in 5 years, which begs the question about what the CFO's are being asked to do. There is question about the ethical behaviors of this company. They hire, relocate people, and then fire them within a few months (I have seen seven examples of this in less than a year). There is no culture, lack of communication, and people are not willing to help train in fear of losing their jobs. It is not a happy work environment, and it is very hard to trust the people at the company because people will use anything to make others look bad. There is very little communication and the CEO is known for belittling his category managers. The company calls itself innovative, but there is question as to why it has to stay so innovative by opening more little companies that seem to appear and disappear. Transparency and ethics are highly in question at this company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to restructure organization to become flatter, secure and start embracing ethical practices in accounting and in the work place.
