I have been working at Papa John's part-time (more than 3 years)

I love my GM, most of my crew I adore. Flexible schedule, food, growth potential, fast work, no two shifts will ever be the same, flexible positions within job. If you're lucky great regular customers and i work with some characters who make it interesting too

Its the pizza biz, drivers seem to make more then the people making everything, pay starts low, growth potential can get snagged by no openings or things unrelated to job, customers can be cheap rude and always want more for less. No real full time positions if you're not head driver or management and even then its hard.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire to build a team. Not just to staff the store quick, and trying the best of the best isn't guaranteed because those types tend to have strong opinions and can clash with others, Always hire/advance within the crew before hiring outsiders. Don't underestimate the power of a fun, team effort work environment where we all get along and work fluidly together.

    Positive Outlook
