I worked at Paperchase Products part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good discount, hours could be extended easily. Colleagues were mostly nice, and the opportunity to move between stores was given. Was given the chance to handle our store's visual merchandise, despite only being a basic staff member.

    Cons

Management were very disorganised - I was offered one job and given another, then promotions were delayed extensively due to lack of communication between branches and management. Lack of senior staff meant lower-down members had to take up a lot of slack, with little to no recognition for the effort taken. The warehouse rooms were messy and stock levels were poor.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Talk to your stores more, and listen when told they're understaffed or lack the time to implement the more elaborate head office schemes!
