I worked at Paradigm Tax Group full-time (More than a year)
In the 2.5 years I spent at PTG, I found the people in the Phoenix office are very friendly and just all around awesome people. Very much a team atmosphere. Makes for a wonderful culture. Corporate is just down the hallway so if you have a question for the CEO, CFO, controller, accountants etc you can just pop on over and say hello. PTO and benefits are good. Management is flexible and will let you come in early and leave early or come in late and leave late as long as it's reasonable. If you have an emergency or have a doctors appointment and you need to take off a couple hours early they let you do that as well without taking PTO. Office space is nice as they just moved into a new space as of July 2014. Great opportunity to learn and grow as a professional.
Sometimes you have to come in on the weekends during busy seasons and vacation is limited during those times. Unfortunately, legislation was recently signed into law that is hurting the Arizona property tax industry in a profound way and is my main reason for leaving PTG.
Advice to Management
My constructive critique of the Phoenix office is that everyone is good at producing, but improvement could be made on how well the team is managed. Also, there seems to be somewhat of a double standard between employees that are tenured and those that are low on the totem pole. Some might say that is normal, but it is of my opinion that all should be treated the same regardless of title or time spent with the company.
