I worked at Park Square Homes (Less than a year)
Small family owned company that is very family oriented. Family is important and they understand that family issues arise. The company provides a lot of functions and events for the employees throughout the year.
There is a lack of direction at the top. No one is held accountable for their actions or lack of. Some people have their own agendas and do not work as part of the team. Most times it seems as though they go out of their way to create problems. Co-workers constantly doing, saying or suggesting things that make other employees look bad. They put others down to promote themselves so they can shine.
Advice to Management
Listen to the employees you hired that have significant experience in the industry. You hired them for their abilities and what they know. Allow them to present suggestions and recommendations to help the company. Knowledge is not only held by a few select people. Any of your experienced employees may have beneficial ideas and suggestions that may help the company in ways that have not been thought of or before. Everyone has something of value to contribute. Get your money's worth. Listen to the ideas they have. You might just hear something that will be beneficial to everyone.
