    I worked at PeaceHealth full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good vacation pay... nice employees /co workers..

    Cons

    The food sucks... mostly old.. the hospital went to crap after peacehealth took over.. environmental services is the cleaning portion of the hospital. . They cut most employees hours but expect them to do 17 hours of work in a 7 hour shift.. if you dont put the numbers up.. they use fake policies to write you up to legally suspend you to were you dont get help from the state.. even with a workers comp claim.. I didnt get any help from L&i because they way they did paperwork... said it happen in the family birth center at clark college. .in vancouver... at 1am... I have never seen a class at a college let alone someone in a vacant class at 1am... they lie about alot.. they screw their employees. . They black ball employees from getting other jobs that pay better in other departments even though you get degrees or certifications.. the benifits suck.. they have the cities in their back pocket where they are located.... I used to love my job there.. but after all the negative that I saw and no help from the state even with legal proof and documentation. .. my advice.. go somewhere else...... if people remember... this is part of the reason peacehealth lost the kaiser contract to legacy.. they had the contract for 13 years.. lost it 6 months after peacehealth took over... also.. with lay offs... its funny.. the ceo makes over a million a year.took a pay cut for 60k a year... dont forget your oil change on your yellow lamborghini joe... they have acting directors from multiple states flying in and out weekely.. people wonder why 170 plus got laid off within a week

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Check scheduling.. look at the dates policies start.. you cant write someone up and suspend them with a policy that hasnt started using the previous 3 years to do so check records if you need to.. its their in black and white.. nobody signed an agreement. . Also.. really check into what the managers tell employees. . They say one thing.. then the acting director hears another.. its BS.. MANAGERS TREAT REGULAR EMPLOYEES LIKE DIRT... The nice positive employees are the regular employees. .. if you see management anywhere on there id badge.. ignore them.. they will talk down to you
