I worked at PepsiCo full-time (more than a year)

From a field operations manager prospective: You will fit or you won't and you'll probably realize it a year in if it's your first job like it was mine. Very military. Type A people everywhere. Their favorite movies are the Matrix and Gladiator. They aren't bad movies, but they are a decade old, which is roughly the last time these people had free time I figured. I loved working with my team members and that's why I stayed for as long as I did (2 years). But always an intense pressure to fit 10 pounds of stuff into a bag that is specifically marked in bold that it cannot contain more than 5 pounds of stuff.

Off shift positions abound (nature of the business) and no work-life balance (culture of the business).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is great diversity in race and age and educational background, which is awesome. But that really doesn't matter when you only look for a specific profile of the type A people when recruiting. Let the group think begin.
