I worked at Performant full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great team environment. A couple genuine and truthful managers. It is possible to make a decent living working there but it is not the norm. The turnover rate is tremendous because they would rather have people work for 8 months or less than have tenured employees. Newer people didn't have the large commissions built up that a tenured person had accrued so the company saves money when tenured people leave and they do not discourage it.

    Cons

Income changes substantially from month to month. Tenure is irrelevant. Managers are more production focused than they are focused on getting and keeping quality employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a bigger interest in employees, watch for signs of employee burnout, offer to move employees to other departments or positions, communicate with all employees equally, and inquire why an employee wants to leave when they come to you directly saying they may have to leave the employer.
