I have been working at Philips Healthcare full-time (more than a year)

Lots of resources. They have given me all the hardware I have asked for that is relevant to my job (software engineer). Smart people. Good local management.

Your bonus is tied to corporate performance, not just your BU or product line. This means no matter how well you do, you may not get anything due to some other unit screwing up. On the plus side, management told us no bonuses, but then fought for us and corporate agreed to give us at least a fraction so it wasn't a total loss.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't just talk big picture all the time. That's useful sometimes and more so to investors, but we the grunts want to hear about specific things that affect us day to day. That will make us more eager to excel.
