I have been working at Philips Lighting full-time (More than 3 years)

Philips is a big name. They have pretty good benefits and salary is not the worst. Rarely required to stay at work late to get work done. Coworkers are great people in and out of the office.

It feels like marketing and upper level management do not know what customers really want. Working with other departments is usually chaos since each group has their own set of priorities. Project timelines seem to be poorly planned and either need to be delayed because of overly optimistic estimates or rushed to meet a deadline. Limited resources (people and equipment) and the unwillingness to add resources do not help this either. Finally, because of limited resources, I feel like career growth potential is extremely limited within the company.
