    I worked at Phonak full-time (more than 8 years)


    It's a job and that's a stretch. You may find that you work with some good coworkers below the management level.


    Do yourself a favor and keep your self-respect and look elsewhere. Treated like a number and there is a constant push to make MORE. Workloads and management expectations always increase over time. You have to be a robot to succeed there. Told frequently that "you are replaceable" told where the door is. Great/outstanding hard working people have left the company and the talent loss shows, moral is very low. Absolutely zero employee loyalty, you can be fired for any or no reason no matter how long you've been there. One person was fired for not working OT on a Saturday and one person was fired for being sick and in the hospital. Several mangers have no experience in the field they are in and cannot lead people. After the move in December 2013 to the new location it is now the “WORST COMPANY TO WORK FOR” No opportunities to move up. The company is run like a high school full of drama and a complete lack of professionalism from the management team. Managers should actually show some respect to their employees and learn to run a business professionally. Company lacks leaders that are qualified for their positions,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The production workers need to become UNIONIZED. For better employee retention, treat your employees with respect rather than second class citizens. Upper management; please quit screwing people over for your own advancement, (what comes around goes around) Ineffective upper manager and HR staff are kept around far too long.
