    I have been working at Pierce College full-time for more than 10 years


    People care about each other at Pierce College. Team work is important and expected.
    Professional development is encouraged and expected. When working at Pierce College your work has meaning as you are part of team that changes students lives and the community. This work is part of increasing the economic growth of the community in which you live. The executive leadership is hardworking and willing to roll-up their sleeves and get the work done along side staff. They are supportive and passionate about their work.


    Everyone is held to high expectations and the work days are long. Every position has a big workload. You are expected to be on your A-game all of the time. Once something is accomplished you move right on to the next thing and continuous improvement is expected. As in all places communication is always an issue.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Continue to offer options for professional development and the time in order to participate in professional development activities. Review options for increasing salaries of all levels of the organization within the state law. Provide positive and supportive feedback.
