    If you like being micromanaged and talked down to by upper management then this is the company for you. If you enjoy failing brand inspections because your owners won't give you what the brand required and then not receive your bonus because you failed your inspection apply now! If you like needing HR assistance and have to wait a week to talk to someone because they are on a retreat then this is the company for you. If you like being talked down to by upper management and love conference call after conference call. If you like having your front desk staff do laundry and only being to schedule one person for a very busy Friday night resulting in them leaving you for another hotel.If you like spending more than half your day completing reports and then being forced to cover desk because of your payroll budget then run don't walk to a Pillar Hotel. Don't forget to kiss your wife and kids good bye because you will not be seeing them anytime soon.

    Advice to Management

    Hire a new HR staff. Stop letting upper management beat up the property managers. Control the amount of conference calls allowed. Let the property managers run the hotel. When something is required to pass a QA by the brand let the hotel have it so they do not fail. Give each property full desk coverage so that the GM is not required to cover the desk. Budget a laundry person so that the front desk does not have to do laundry.
