I have been working at Pilot Catastrophe Services, Inc.Pros
Training is good but if you have no construction or Xactimate experience, you're going to have a rough couple of deployments (If your trainer is a guy named Able, listen to everything he says. He sounds like a 'know-it-all' because he does know it all). Pay rate is good but it sounds like they're changing some of the pay rates.Cons
No health insurance, very inconsistent work schedule (have been with them since June/2014 and still no deployment. I live in the MN area so this may be the reason because their headquarters are in Alabama and Taxes.Advice to ManagementAdvice
They have gotten better at communicating to non-deployed adjusters with their recent blog and monthly newsletter but it would be nice to hear more communication to the adjusters that are not on a deployment. Also, give more advice on how new adjusters can receive more deployments.RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO
