Corporate cares way more about profit than the struggles of running a store on a broken system with spoiled customers.

I worked at Pizza Hut part-time (more than a year)

The manager of my store was amazing and basically worked as our protector against the b.s. that corporate always threw at us. My manager was incredibly skilled at managing the budget for the store, making sure everything was accounted for, and making sure that the customer would be kept satisfied while avoiding unnecessary losses. I can't really say anything good about the company at all, but my store manager was great.

No matter what, corporate would still constrict what we could do and leave us with the responsibility and vulnerability of bearing the brunt from needlessly pissed off customers. Corporate is sickeningly detached from those on the lower rungs of the latter.

Hang in there. If you're looking out for your employees like mine did, you're doing a great job, and you're doing all you can do.
