I worked at PlaneTechs full-time (more than 10 years)

The third party aviation maintenance industry is very unstable and undergoes a lot of layoffs, so there are always candidates available to recruit and hire.

Long hours, daily disappointment, lack of upward mobility, lot of turn-over (field employees as well as internal staff), and lack of communication and feedback from sales staff. Company is currently worth half the value it was 4 years ago and when you're owned by a corporation which makes majority of its $$$ through acquisitions and sales, you're constantly wondering when the ax will fall.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hold your sales staff to the same standards you hold your recruiters.
