I worked at Postmates full-time for less than a year

    Pros

It's kismet that Posmates has expanded to Seattle in 2013 - 2014, just as many residents and leaders in the city are galvanizing around holding businesses accountable for providing a living wage.

    Cons

Here is one: Their websites and ads tout a compensation of $20-$30 for couriers; at their 10 minute orientation they display that a "flexible professional" working 40hrs+/week COULD make UP TO $1800/month (which is about $11/hour) -- and of course this "flexible professional" is not the average/norm.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

JUST STOP. RE-EVALUATE. RE-IMAGINE. Assuming that the founder(s) had "good" intentions initially, the execution of Postmates is unethical and unsustainable.
