I have been working at Pragmatics full-time (more than 3 years)

They try. When they think they have talent, or employees with potential business development prospects, they'll go an extra yard or two to keep that employee. Perks are generally good but highly dependent upon whether you're a corporate employee or out working on a contract. They try to host company parties and picnics and try to make employees working contracts feel like they're more than just a number. In better times they put a good amount of money into overhead and work hard to provide training and advancement opportunities.

They're the wrong size. They think they're competitive with SAIC. They don't understand that money is not a motivator, and that taking it (or benefits) away is a great de-motivator.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop bragging about the number of hours you work. Stop undercutting the pay for your IT and software developers better, much better.
