I worked at Presbyterian Hospital Plano full-time (more than a year)

    It is an attractive facility

    Do provide market pay raises

Snarky working environment--they keep files on every employee
Managers visit patients to collect more dirt on their employees--asking detailed questions about their stay--asking them to provide complaints about a nurse in writing
This managerial approach creates an environment where patients are more likely to complain and nurses more likely to tattle on each other
They preach cultural diversity, but most employees are very conservative and racist

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop losing good employees with your complaint oriented management and spend more time improving your medical practices and unit operation. Most managers focus so much of their time on patient complaints. The manager that I had would develop her opinion about a nurse, and then actively work on complaints for people she expressly wanted to get rid of---ignoring the ones that came for others. It was not objective, and inherently evil. I have worked in two other hospitals and did not have to deal with such harassment.
