Responsibilities:
· Assist with supervision of infants at all times in classroom, changing area, and playground
· Assist in developing and implementing daily and weekly lesson plan activities that meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in the program
· Help provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games and storytelling
· Assist in care-giving routines (feeding, diaper changing)
· Assist with documentation of daily needs, observations, and developmental milestones
· Assist in maintaining effective communication with parents and other staff
· Will be alert and responsive to children at all times
· Assist in establishing routines
· Provide a safe and secure environment
· Be familiar with emergency procedures
· Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:
The Infant Teacher will be thoroughly committed to Creative Children’s Center's mission. Concrete demonstrable experience and other qualifications include:
· At least 1 year of experience working with Infant children
· High school diploma or GED required
· Infant/Toddler 90 hour certification or Child Development Associates (CDA)
· Ability to work effectively with diverse staff, parents, and community members
· Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
· Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
· Must submit to background check
