I worked at Princeton Consultants full-time

    Pros

    - smart, hardworking coworkers (large portion from elite universities with Ph.D)
    - some exciting projects
    - super stable -- even if a project fails, you will be transferred to a different project or work "on the beach" on internal projects
    - great first job to learn the entire software development process (from initial idea to delivery and maintenance) and consulting
    - coworkers are very helpful in getting you up to speed

    Cons

    - projects and managers vary, can get stuck on uninteresting projects
    - pay could be better

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - keep employees interested in their project -- don't switch directors and projects without being 100% certain that employee is OK with the switch (while keeping in mind that it can be difficult for employee to honestly say that they don't want to work on a particular project)
    - pay better to retain employees
