I worked at full-time (More than a year)

The building itself is beautiful. It maximizes the views (yet workers can't actually see the mountains from their cubes.) It's nice to have dogs at work too. It certainly saved me some headaches with my own dog. There are some truly talented people there, and at times I had a lot of fun with my coworkers. The pay is not horrible for Montana. The town is windy, but I actually liked Livingston a lot. Would have stayed if there were other job opportunities. I did learn a how to use some cool programs like Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat. Every now and then the designer in my current company comes over to me and asks me advice! That's pretty cool.

It's not like a cult, it is a cult. Do some research to discover the origins of the company. Upper management uses fear and shame in order to motivate people. The CEO loves the pretty ladies, and you will see an inordinate number of them working there, at least for this part of Montana. Not saying there is anything sexual going on, at least I did not see any evidence. As a so so looking woman, I realized I was not going to advance at the company, so I had to jet. I have been working full-time for almost 10 years now, and I worked for a couple of great companies. PFL is definitely not one of them. If you have a family and are relocating, please keep in mind that the company presents well during an interview. They need worker bots to keep the company going. The company loses 1.1 employees for every one they hire. Ask about the turnover rate when interviewing. If you are part of a young family and are relocating, the stress of this job can, seriously, break up your marriage. Unless you are literally homeless and starving, I guarantee you there is something better out there. The turnover rate is more telling than any negative reviews here. No doubt some are obviously written by people that could not hack it, and it's just sour grapes. The no gossip policy is complete B.S.

    Advice to Management

They are a pitiful lot. Arrogant, condescending, and insensitive. Go back to pre-school and learn some manners. The arrogance is astounding. They will have a meeting and ask you your opinion. So you offer your opinion. Then a manager will say well this is what I am doing. Then why even have the meeting and ask for opinions if they have zero chance of being taken into consideration. My advice, try to make the CEO go into early retirement. When he is there you can cut the tension with a knife, when he is not there it's party time.
