    I have been working at ProSites full-time (more than a year)


    This company was purchased by private equity just a little over a year ago, and merged with another organization in the same industry located on the east coast. Both organizations were at the top of their game in providing internet marketing services to niche and targeted industries.The leadership in the organization has adopted an accountability model, where every employee has the opportunity to achieve results linked to the performance objectives or the organization. Growth and expansion couldn't be more prevalent, and is one of the reasons that high performers are attracted to join this team. ProSites is about creating an exhilarating environment, which can be defined as fast paced and dynamic. This would be a great opportunity for top performers..


    When ever you merge two organizations together there will be challenges, but these challenges can be resolved with quick and decisive decision making, and by building the right infrastructure that provides the greatest benefit to the employees and to the organization as a whole. Sometimes change affects people negatively when they aren't sure about the direction of the company, especially after an acquisition and then a merger; so ProSites needs to communicate often and with clarity; by maybe conducting frequent "all hands" meetings; whereby everyone can be kept abreast of the progress its making to integrate and become the best in the industry. When employees have answers it galvanizes the environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Evaluate compensation and benchmark wages so employees know exactly where they stand compared to similar roles in the industry. Create employee development plans to encourage growth and future opportunity. Manage by objective by generating a solid performance based system for each role the organization; where employees clearly understand how their role impacts the goals and objectives of the organization. Employees should know what it takes to be a valued contributor. Management should continue to reward top performers and provide opportunities for team building.
