Great employer with solid culture and ethics, salary and benefits. Needs to be careful to stop caring about their people

I worked at Procter & Gamble full-time (More than 10 years)

Got responsibilities from early on, learned a lot during a variety of interesting assignments. Excellent culture, ethics, and great people - some of them still friends. Highly competitive salary and benefits. Golden handshake from Band 3 onwards. Work-life-balance is not an issue. Great place if you are ambiguous, don't mind politics, and are able to keep a distance between yourself and work.

Not the right place if you are emotionally invested and have a strong sense of loyalty and individualism. Claim people are their most important assets, but it feels like everybody can replace you in your job tomorrow. If you have a pre-disposition, it can burn you out. Your emotional investment may not be returned. A company this big will inevitably have a high level of politics. However, when you start making fun with your co-workers about corporate language, you start realising that something is not quite right when you cannot call a spade a spade anymore. The better you master the language, the higher you will rise.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you are not loosing your values during the restructuring period. Prevent people from burning out. Call a spade a spade.
