I have been working at PwC full-time (more than 3 years)

Opportunities at top tier clients in all industries are available. Lots of bright colleagues with deep knowledge of industry issues. Pay is good, maybe not as high as McK, Bain or BCG but competitive.

Tough lifestyle that is the norm in consulting. Lots of travel, endless hours, difficult to do if you are married or have a family that miss you. Emphasis on "reinvest" work on top of long client hours leads to very long days and tough workloads. Projects are mostly in transformation initiatives (ie. technology rollouts and operating model changes), though more strategy work is coming in recently.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Set client expectations so that projects are more manageable for project teams. There will always be pressure to deliver timely results, but try to estimate projects accurately instead of promising miracles in less time than is necessary.
