Company is a market leader and strongly positioned in it's core cellular modem business. It is growing steadily. This translates to job security.
Very good benefits package, one could say it's on par with the best out there.
Smart people to work with (definitely in the group I work in). Good learning process for fresh grads.Cons
Compensation is average, esp if you are in bay area. Bonuses, RSUs and benefits may make up for it partly but still not on par with most SF Bay Area biggies.
Work life balance is bad and getting worse progressively as the years pass on. I feel that I am spending more weekends working now compared to earlier. Processes (documentation, communication) havent kept pace with the transition to a big multi-time zone company.
There are a lot of personal development opportunities, but rarely does one have the chance to put off work and take even a 3-day class.
Career growth within the company is slowing down. This is mainly due to crowding at higher levels of the company that is throttling the growth of lower and mid-levels.RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO
