I have been working at RED Interactive Agency full-time (More than 8 years)

RED has some of the nicest people you would ever work with, their niceness only takes second place to the amount of talent they have. People are challenged to do their best work and are treated with respect and professionalism. Work/Life balance is a key philosophy at RED and it is purely left to the individual to manage their time. I have yet to see another place which gives their employees this much latitude on all aspects of their job. Most of the employees at RED have been there for a long time and new comers rarely leave, I have only seen a few departures and they were either people who had major life-changing events or people who were under performing. The location is great with some really tasty food options and just far enough from the big traffic areas. Office space is ample and comfortable and RED provides you with amazing work equipment. The health insurance is down right incredible and the leadership will go out of their way to help people with personal situations and make situations work. The company's leadership has an open door policy and no one is ever penalized for expressing their issues or concerns, in fact, they welcome them - you still have to take initiative as an employee.

Not enough cheese bagels on Tuesdays. Flat hierarchy can be confusing at first, but when you realize leadership is granted based on your performance it all clicks. There are a lot of personalities and chances are someone somewhere won't like somebody, but this happens everywhere. As a new person it can take a little while to find your rhythm with your teammates because you are not managed into some sort of monolithic process, but once you do it is a breeze.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing: Making your employees feel valuable and empowered but make sure everyone feels it.
