Former Contractor - Consultant in Philadelphia, PA
Former Contractor - Consultant in Philadelphia, PA

I worked at RGP as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

The staffing team was very good in staying in touch with me during my contract to see how I was doing. This is very different from other staffing agencies that just send you to a client and you never hear from them. A benefits package was offered after a certain period of time at the client.

    Cons

There seemed to be a limited pipeline of work (possibly due to the "Great Recession") . The benefits package was expensive. No paid time off or sick days.

    Advice to Management

Management should proactively work to keep consultants staffed at a client location. They should begin to socialize a consultants resume ~ 1 - 2 months before their engagement is set to expire.
