I worked at RadioShack full-time (more than 3 years)Pros
Helping the public and making sure they received good customer service was the best part of my job.Cons
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!! There is no unity between managers, and employees. I was lied on, and thrown under the bus by management on numerous occasions just so they would look better.
RadioShack has some of the worst decision making, when it comes to policy, new management hires, and customer service.
Many store level managers also "mislead" and lie to the public to make their store numbers for the day.
A customer made a large purchase in cash, and the next day returned the unopened, unused item. But they were told that they could not get cash back, and that we would have to mail them a check. The policy is if there is not enough cash in the drawer for the return then yes, radioshack does mail a check. On this particular occasion there was more than enough cash in the drawer to give to the customer for the refund, seeing that it was the holiday season and near Christmas. The manager did not want to return the item, because they did not want loose money and miss numbers for the dayAdvice to ManagementAdvice
