    I have been working at Raytheon full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Decent benefits, pay is average, encourage work/life balance and offer plenty of paid time off. Room for growth is okay and they will reimburse $10k/year for grad school.

    Cons

    Little in the way of incentives to perform. At best as a young employee, you can get a small award for being a top 0.001% employee out of the 40k plus who work here. Not until you are a senior employee can you expect any real incentives, and even then you'll need to be management. You are guaranteed a bonus, but the amount depends on the business goals set by the business and whether or not they reach them (which honestly an employee has little control over). AT MOST THIS BONUS IS 3%. Essentially a double paycheck some time in the middle of the year. It's not really a great place to grow your career as a young employee. I could see this being a good place to retire when older, that's about it.

    And of course, no matter what, the CEO will get his ludicrous bonus having nothing to do with the performance of the company. Management also cut out things like coffee, water, and lunches at meetings so they could save a few bucks.

    When you get promoted, your raise will be absolute garbage compared to what you could get at similar companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More incentives to perform well would do wonders for the morale around the office. Also don't cut out things that make your employees happy so you can have your ridiculous bonuses.
