I worked at Reading Health System full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    The pay was good.

    Cons

Upper management who give lip service. Lots of Lies in this organization. High Drama everywhere! They are still escorting the best of the best to the door and saying GOODBYE... Not sure when they will wake up and realize that YOU need experienced people to stay ... NOT LEAVE... something else that has been bothering me... The HR department is just plain awful there... no caring ..no compassionate or kind people in this department.. just call the HR department on the phone.. and listen to how they speak to you or how they talk to you... and quite honestly.. its everyone in HR. They speak to the employees as if they are worthless... its a shame. Its a hospital... listen to your nurses people!! Without nurses it wouldn't be a hospital!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

why let good people go? encourage retention... keep the experienced nurses there please!!!!
Oh... and when you are supposed to be sitting in a meeting.. maybe you could put your phones and tablets away and listen to what is being said.. that might help..
