Former Employee - Part-time Teller in Miami, FL

I worked at Regions Financial part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Met professional connections as a student, began sales in different job markets.

    Cons

The pay is low compared to other financial institutions, there was always a scheduling conflict even though I was part-time (I would be scheduled for 35 hours at times). HR is very unprofessional, and they would cut corners with you when they didn't want to tell you the truth. I had once quit and come back to the company and I was not able to go back to my original branch, and they cut corners there as well. They overlook established employees and do not let older employees move up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clean up your HR representatives, especially in Miami, Fl. They have no sense of professionalism and do not support the employees. Micro-management is always present and some branches are slower than others....there's no way sales goals can be met if the branch traffic is dead and the same customers come day after day. Don't abuse your part-time employees!
