    I have been working at Regis Salon (More than a year)

    Pros

    The manager is a very understanding and caring person she will build you up to be your best. Always putting herself in your shoes before being judge mental she always tries to have the stylist back. But she will take time to encourage you and give you tips and grow you as a person or as a stylist. I really appreciate that about her. She makes this Specific salon a great place to work. My co workers are all considerate and respectful and usually always willing to help out at work or education or even picking up a day if possible. The salon itself is clean and has everything you could possibly need and the company will provide basically everything but shears, round brushes and a hair dryer. If you prefer a certain clipper/ trimmer bring it but they usually have Wahl/ Andis for stylist use. You can quickly build a good clientele

    Cons

    if you quit and your clients ask for you we are not allowed to say anything but that person is no longer with the company. Basically you are just a number to them and easily replaced. It does not matter if clients cry beg or call corporate. We can't do anything for stylist or client. I feel bad sometimes but mostly I blame the stylist for not communicating to their clients they are quitting and instead referring them to someone else in the salon or something. But I don't know sometimes it's out of your control like if you get fired. So i guess it just has to suck for that client till they get over it.

    Advice to Management

    I think if corporate took time to get to know there stylist and become more involved in growing their company it could really resolve a lot of the little questions and concerns that stylist get annoyed with like pricing, pricing changes, priority booking and rotation.
