I have been working at Rembrandt Enterprises full-time

    Pros

Many options for medical benefits; employee premiums fair and reasonable. Days off during the traditional work week. Two 3-day weekends each month.

    Cons

Supervisory level employees work over 14 hours every day and frequently 16 hours just to get the bare minimum done for no bonus, overtime pay, or flex-time. Salaried employees working well in excess of their 40 hours are scolded if not on-site early. Supervisory employees not compensated for company recognized holidays; only extra vacation day that they can never use if their schedule rotation falls on a holiday. Staffing is bare bones; salaried employees forced to work unpaid on days off if any one is unable to come to work. Much ink spilled and hot air spewed about respect and professionalism when behavior not modeled by management level employees. Managers demand respect that they have not earned. Hourly employees overpaid and not held accountable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Supervisory and management employees have too much on their plates to get anything done but the absolute minimum. More resources need to be allocated to attracting and retaining more and better Maintenance and Quality professionals at the Plant level; not just locals that are willing to give it their best effort until quitting time. Facility and equipment are not being maintained properly for long-term success.
