Love working for a human services company. ResCare makes a difference. Look to hire and promote from within. Good benefits package.
Cost of health insurance relatively expensive. No raises. I can see why they do this, but you have to reward and compensate valuable employees or you will lose them. I've seen ResCare lose too many valuable employees because of this policy. The turnover rate seems quite high, however, it does not seem high at the director/manager level and above. I assume they are compensated well. We are spending a lot of time training new employees because of the high turnover rate which reduces efficiency.
Advice to Management
The no raise policy is fine, but valuable employees need to somehow be compensated and shown appreciation or you will continue to lose talented employees.
