Good and extensive training as I hadn’t working in recruitment before. All the steps and stages are explained very clearly with lots of practice time and role plays before going ‘live’. Good supervision and there are a lot of client and industry resources available. The commission structure is very good and transparent, I didn’t expect to be earning so much in a relatively short time. Although recruitment is a sales job the ethos here is more about matching to candidates needs to the clients opportunities. Ensuring the candidate has a full understanding on the advantages a job move would provide them.
Some of the candidates are very demanding, being ‘the top of their game’. The company doesn’t advertise for candidates ‘its against their ethos’ so all work is pro-active headhunt searches. Admittedly there is a good database of candidates but when that is exhausted the only option is to headhunt more people.
