    I worked at Riptide Software full-time (less than an year)


    Talented and intelligent CEO with exceptional acumen for business and time management, employed one of the greatest project managers I've met


    Limited ability to advance, certain individuals in leadership lack actual leadership skills and have been pulled away from their real talent (programming, business development, etc.) and put in a leadership role without mentoring because they excelled in at their real talent rather than demonstrating a capacity to lead, terrible at employee selection (and very likely racist and sexist in their selection), certain individuals have a habit of misleading clients in order to avoid pricing discussions (*others are more honest and forthright), zero concern for work life balance, leadership does not foster morale and makes business matters personal, very high turn over rate (avg life span of a Riptide Employee = 1.5 years)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Create a PMO position, create an art director position, develop better selection criteria when hiring, stop berating your staff and treat them with the respect they deserve
