Decent pay once you get past Shift Supervisor Depending on the DM they can be very approachable and will help you with anything. Depending on the store manager you will get a real taste at running the financial end of the store. Decent 401K and other discounts. Very easy to move up. High turn over and many store managers are hitting their retirement age.

Major cuts in payroll Some locations 24/7, if you don't like that. Shift Supervisors are underpaid, most making only $1 an hour more than cashiers. Bosses on high love micromanaging Store Management, sometimes we have so little say of what we do in the store. Older managers sometimes look down on younger managers based solely on age.

    Advice to Management

Let management do their job and actually MANAGE their stores.
