I absolutely love this job, it is not for everyone. The environment is constantly changing and you can never get bored. As a Staffing Manager I am able to Market, Recruit, and place candidates. Although I wouldn't consider myself a sales person, I look at my candidates as my inventory and being able to market their backgrounds to clients is the sales aspect. We recruit to our matrix to have a strategic mix of business and conduct over 20 interviews a week. The fact that Robert Half is so specialized and an ethics forward company, it makes it easy to stand behind the brand and promote candidates of Robert Half.
The one and only con as a Staffing Manager at Robert Half to note are the long hours, we work from 8am-6pm Monday through Friday, but this is to cater to the needs of our candidates, we are available to speak with them about any issues on assignment and check in with them to ensure satisfaction without interfering with their work hours. The company culture of Robert Half is very go, go, go and is not for slackers so anyone with a non-competitive or timid personality would most likely not be a good fit for this environment. For those of us "go-getters" it's the perfect environment!
