Former Employee - Sales Associate in Southampton, England (UK)

I worked at Royal Bank of Scotland full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I was there almost 3 years and was given lots of responsibility which was good and made me fees important. The people working there are great and made it all the better.

    Cons

They got us to do lots of extra work outside of my job title without paying any extra. There was nowhere to go.. they laid off lots of people above me so I was just stuck doing what I was doing. Even if I had got promoted, I probably would have been made redundant! Also the bonus is capped so no matter how hard you work, its always the same amount you will receive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You need to start rewarding people fr all the extra work they are putting in.. IE pay rises!! Also, stop hiring everyone through agencies... they are uninterested people that you hired cheaply.. and it didnt help us people out at all that were working hard to train them.
