Former Employee - Group Department in Springfield, OR

I worked at Royal Caribbean Cruises full-time (more than 5 years)

The benefits are some of the best in this area

Forced to work overtime because you have to stay available until it is time to go & inevitably your phone will ring 10 seconds before you are off!
Supervisors are a joke and are promoted only because they kiss the butts of the managers
Training is a joke, procedures constantly changing & employees are the last to know
Pay is too low & promotion opportunity is only available if you say what they want you to say in an interview
Too many people, not enough parking spaces
Split days off there is absolutely no reason for this

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat all employees the same, when you have favorites it shows & everyone knows who is going to get the job opening before you quit taking applications.
Jobs are created just for special people without any regard as how it will look
