    I worked at SDL full-time (more than 3 years)


    Very knowledgeable, conscientious and professional staff. Great camaraderie with colleagues. Pleasant office facilities, access to great hardware and software. A recognised world leader in the space in terms of service, technology and expertise.


    People are not valued and excessive unpaid overtime is the accepted norm. The organisation is very hierarchical and it feels management don't care about staff. Highly qualified, intelligent, committed people are constantly made to feel they are lucky to have a job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    What makes SDL is the people and people need to feel valued. Instead of investing in the SDL Foundation which is tax efficient and looks good in terms of corporate social responsibility, why not give all staff a pay rise or annual bonus to make them feel valued and appreciated?
