I worked at SEH America full-time

Relaxed culture in most areas, especially on night shift. The pay is good compared to similar companies in the area. Paid lunch. Good Benefits- They actually still have a pension plan, along with 401k matching... very rare to find in semiconductor. For the people who can handle the work there seems to be a good amount of loyal between the company and the employees. I worked with a lot of people who were there 20-30 years. It was staggering how many lifers were there.

Unhealthy competition when compared to sister plants in Japan. Goals are constantly changing. ISO 9001 certified (somehow?) but many processes are not documented officially and changes are made through verbal or email instructions. Communication is poor. High turnover due to the physical, brain dead work. Many areas were forced to work mandatory overtime to meet goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reward the people who stick around. The work can be very physical and sometimes very brain dead. It definitely is not for everyone. The turnover is especially high in the more physical areas so those who stick around and excel at their jobs should be rewarded often.
