    I worked at SHIFT Communications

Strong understanding of what it sells, what it measures and what it takes to retain clients. Tactically one of the best and most ethical PR shops around. Media relations bread-and-butter and experimenting with automating.

Needs to decide what it wants to be when it grows up (or if it wants to). It can stay a 100-125 shop and keep a kumbaya culture where birthday surprises take a front seat to a killer work ethic and spirit of challenging work, or it can roll up it sleeves and recognize that some of the perks have to go hand-in-hand with some more demanding hours, tactics and strategies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't let automating technology replace relationship building and don't hide behind past successes, logos of big name clients that the agency was able to pitch but didn't win and awards that are easy to win.
