Good quality products, very clean & organized facility including the production areas. Non-management staff works well together across departments to get the job done. The work is interesting and challenging, and get to work with people from all over the world. Good company benefits, including vacation time.
Management will micro-manage you regardless of how well you perform your job. This dynamic, combined with a significant level of politics within the company, creates a stress level that would be seen as unhealthy in most other companies. If you do your job too well, you will likely be boxed into that role, which could impede career development. Empty promises made by Senior Management (particularly in Operations) will only cause the employee to work more for little to no gain. Working remotely (even from home) is generally not an option.
Advice to Management
Stop micromanaging the office staff and give them the tools to get the job done. Employee empowerment goes a long way with respect to productivity and job satisfaction.
