During my sixteen years with the company I found that they were very courteous and professional. They did not tolerate harassment of any kind and were strict about ensuring that employees adhered to the Code of Conduct, as well as encouraging them to follow the chain of communication to bring any issue to the attention of management.
Within my particular department, there was very little room for advancement and when questioned, very little options were given apart from 'look somewhere else'. Unfortunate, especially considering the amount of time and dedication I and others had given to the company.
Advice to Management
The management is different now than when I was there so I'm unsure if my previous concerns still apply, but if so, I would simply offer that they should do as much as possible to cultivate and maintain a strong employee's loyalty. It can do much to bolster overall confidence and morale, not just in the department but the company overall.
