Current Employee - Meat Clerk  in  Yorba Linda, CA
Current Employee - Meat Clerk in Yorba Linda, CA

I have been working at Safeway part-time for more than a year

    Pros

honest, hard work. nice focus on customer service. good experience working with general products, food preparation, and occasionally irate customers.

    Cons

company intentionally sets all hourly pay for new hires extremely low to increase turnaround. the union does not help, because their weekly dues are so high that they eat up any pay increase an employee has earned.
